For the Ministry of Education, Parishads and examination boards
Public records, public money, permanent accountability.
We build systems for the education sector and local government in Bangladesh, where scale is national, the record has to last, and every decision has to be traceable years after it was made.
What we bring
What we bring to a government engagement
Fifteen years in the sector
Building and operating software for educational institutions in Bangladesh since 2010. We know the curriculum structures, the board requirements and the reporting formats, and we have maintained systems through years of change rather than delivering once and leaving.
Local government experience
Phase 1 of our project and document management platform for Zilla and Upazila Parishads is in live pilot deployment with a district council, handling publicly funded projects and official records.
Specification-led delivery
We write the full specification before we write code. For systems of national consequence the expensive mistakes are architectural, and they are made early. Our requirements and architecture documentation is available for review.
Accountability built in
Role-based access, immutable audit logs and complete traceability of decisions, designed in from the first table rather than added as reporting features at the end.
Designed for scale
Multi-tenant architecture serving many institutions or offices on one platform with separated data, so what works in one district extends to the next without a rebuild.
Bengali throughout
Full Bengali language support including correct rendering in generated documents and printed PDFs. A system producing official records in Bangladesh must produce them properly in Bangla.
Areas of engagement
Where we work
-
Pilot deployment
Local government project and document management
Full lifecycle management of publicly funded projects and official documents for Zilla and Upazila Parishads, with searchable permanent records and standing reports for council and higher-authority use.
-
In development, entering pilot
Examination systems at national scale
AI-assisted evaluation for large-scale examinations: handwriting extraction from scanned scripts, anonymised marking, human examiners in the loop and complete auditability. Accuracy before speed, by design.
-
In production
Institutional management across an education system
Our school management platform runs in institutions of every type, general, madrasah and English medium, on a multi-tenant architecture suited to deployment across a system rather than one school at a time.
-
In development, entering pilot
Assessment and quiz systems
Question banks, curriculum-aligned paper generation, delivery and automated evaluation for institutions and examination bodies.
On artificial intelligence
Plainly, so there is no misunderstanding
Our AI products are in development and entering pilot. They have not been deployed on a public examination, and we will not imply that they have.
What we offer instead is a serious engineering position: a fully specified architecture, an explicit priority hierarchy that puts accuracy above efficiency and speed, anonymity enforced structurally rather than procedurally, human examiners retained in the decision, and complete auditability of every mark. We are ready to walk any authority through that design in detail, and to run controlled pilots on real data before anything of consequence depends on the result.
We believe AI will transform how this country evaluates and supports its students, and how it governs. We also believe that transformation should proceed on evidence. We intend to supply it.

Questions from government offices
Is ShikkhaNet available for government tenders in Bangladesh?
Yes. ShikkhaNet Technologies works with government offices and educational authorities in Bangladesh and can be contacted about tenders, pilot programmes and technical evaluation.
What e-governance experience does ShikkhaNet have?
ShikkhaNet built a project and document management platform for Zilla and Upazila Parishads. Phase 1 is complete and in live pilot deployment with a district council, managing publicly funded projects and official records.
How does ShikkhaNet handle audit requirements?
Its systems use role-based access defined by official position and immutable audit logs recording who approved what, when and on what basis. Auditability is designed into the data model rather than added as a reporting layer.
Can ShikkhaNet's systems produce official documents in Bengali?
Yes. Full Bengali support includes correct rendering with embedded fonts in generated documents and printed PDFs, which is a requirement for official records in Bangladesh.
Can one deployment serve many offices or institutions?
Yes. ShikkhaNet builds on a multi-tenant architecture in which many institutions or offices share one platform while keeping their data separated, so a proven deployment can be extended across a district or a system.
