Quiz Management System

Question banks, quiz delivery and automated results, with AI assistance for the part that actually takes the time: writing good questions.

Why we are building it

Writing a good question paper is skilled work. It is also a bottleneck.

Every teacher knows the pattern. The quiz that was meant to be weekly becomes monthly, then occasional, because setting questions, printing papers, marking scripts and entering results consumes hours that were not available in the first place. Assessment frequency drops, and with it the earliest signal that a student is falling behind.

The delivery and marking side of this is a solved problem. The question-setting side is where AI genuinely helps: generating candidate questions against a curriculum topic, balancing a paper across difficulty levels and question types, and flagging a set that is too easy, too repetitive or skewed toward one chapter. The teacher stays the author. The AI removes the blank page.

Planned capabilities

What we are building

Question bank

Questions organised by subject, chapter, topic, type and difficulty, reusable across quizzes and terms.

AI-assisted generation

Draft questions produced against a topic and difficulty level for a teacher to review, edit and approve.

Paper balancing

Automatic checks on syllabus coverage, difficulty distribution and question-type mix before a paper is finalised.

Quiz delivery

Online quizzes with timing and access control, or printable papers where online delivery is not practical.

Automated evaluation

Objective questions marked instantly, with results flowing directly into student records.

Analytics

Performance by student, by topic and by individual question, including which questions are not discriminating well and should be retired.

Biddaloy integration

Quiz results feed into the school management system, so assessment counts toward term results without re-entry.

Examination body scale

The same question bank and delivery model designed to work for a board or examination body, not only a single institution.

Status

Status and pilots

The Quiz Management System is in development and entering pilot release. We are looking for institutions and examination bodies willing to run it on real assessments and tell us where it falls short. If that is you, we would like to talk.

Questions about the Quiz Management System

What is the ShikkhaNet Quiz Management System?

It is an assessment and quiz management system for institutions and examination bodies in Bangladesh, combining a curriculum-organised question bank, AI-assisted question generation, quiz delivery and automated evaluation. It is in development and entering pilot release.

Does the AI write the questions by itself?

No. The AI drafts candidate questions against a topic and difficulty level, and the teacher reviews, edits and approves them. The teacher remains the author of the paper.

Can it check whether a question paper is balanced?

Yes. The system checks syllabus coverage, difficulty distribution and question-type mix before a paper is finalised, and flags papers that are too easy, too repetitive or skewed toward one chapter.

Does it connect to the school management system?

Yes. Quiz results feed into Biddaloy so that assessment counts toward term results without anyone re-entering marks.

Run it on a real assessment.
